Thanks so much for your interest in being a knitting pattern tester! Here you will find my most current knitting pattern application that needs testing!

What I’m looking for

I usually need knitting pattern testers ranging from beginner to intermediate levels. Testers will need to provide detailed feedback on the pattern’s math, grammar, wording, and general flow. I also would like my testers to have public Instagram accounts so I can see and share your work (or another social media platform). Deadlines are provided in each pattern application.

Pattern tester form for the Simple Cabin Socks

Hey guys! Thanks so much for your interest in testing my new worsted weight cabin sock pattern. Please see the requirements of being a test knitter and answer the questions below.

  1. To finish and have emailed notes by noon CST April 4th
  2. Check for mathematical and grammatical errors
  3. Convey things that were not explained clearly
  4. Time how long it took you to test
  5. Confirm yardage used
  6. Give final measurements
  7. Send a work in progress photo(s) and finished photo(s) of your work as a flat lay and being modeled on your feet so I can see the fit
  8. Put up a Ravelry project page within one week of the pattern release

Testers will be chosen and notified on March 21st. If you do not hear back from me, thank you so much for applying, and please don’t hesitate to apply in the future!
