The patterns use one strand of worsted weight or DK weight yarn (Sample knit in Knit Picks Dishie and Berroco Pima Soft Cotton) and US 6 (4.0mm) and US 7 (4.5mm) straight needles or 9″ circular needles (knit flat back and forth). However, you can knit with a different DK or worsted yarn, as long as the gauge matches.
