The best smelling soy candles around- seriously! “Cabin Getaway” is my forever favorite, but they also make amazing punny candles that I like to give as gifts, like “I Like You a Waffle Lot”.

Bella Grace Magazine is something I always have ready to grab and read while I’m knitting. I love the fun listicles!

Ball winder. This one is really simple to use, and I’ve been using it for over 5 years.
I love my Amish style yarn swift! It’s so simple to take apart and put together, which means I actually use it instead of tossing it in the back of the closet.
12 needle sizes (US 3-15) and 5 cord sizes mean lots of projects can be in rotation at once. I’ve had mine for 6 years, and I may never go back to straight needles!
Chiaogoo 9″ circular bamboo knitting needles. A podcast viewer recommended these after hearing how I love 9″ circulars but am not a fan of sliding and noisy metal needles. These are my go-to sock needles right here!

Yarn Organization

white yarn hutch full of baskets of yarn
Black wire baskets are my favorite way to organize my yarn stash. Before I had these baskets, no matter how pretty the yarn hutch started out, the yarn inevitably fell over and made a huge tangled mess. Now I can group like colors or yarn from the same line.
Woven storage baskets are wonderful for yarn that hasn’t been wound up yet. I keep them in the cabinets of my yarn hutch where the shelves aren’t as high.
I keep all of my patterns in these page protectors to store in my knitting binder. It’s so easy to keep notes on where I’m at in a pattern with dry erase markers and sticky notes!

Knitting Books for Beginners

vogue knitting book
This is a knitting reference you’ll want to have in your library. I come back to this over and over again for the really in depth instructions on techniques, and even basic stitches and yarn info.

Swatch, no more! Ok, actually I do still swatch, but not to see how a stitch pattern is going to turn out. This book is full of basic, cable, lace, textured, and tons more colored photos of swatches. It’s like window shopping for a design and then you get the pattern to make it right there!

Knitting Books to Learn More About Certain Knitting Topics

This book is full of patterns by amazing designers. When I’m casting on a new pair of fingering weight socks, this is the first place I check for inspiration.
Knitting through the seasons. Color ideas, patterns and even what fibers are best certain seasons of the year. It feels like part-magazine.
This is my favorite book about yarn dyeing naturally. From what you need to how to do it, this gives seriously everything.
If you’re new or returning to sweater knitting, this is a really great resource. I’m a big fan of top down sweaters for the factor of trying it on as you go. Ann Budd has so much experience in teaching about knitting sweaters.
So many swatches and beautiful photography in this one! It’s also really resourceful, and there are patterns included that are cable knitting gold.
